Boating
Lake Snowden is a 136-acre scenic lake and has an improved boat ramp. In efforts to protect its natural beauty, control shoreline erosion, and maintain the quiet, serene setting, Lake Snowden is a "no wake, idle only" lake. Boaters looking for wildlife in or around the lake can expect to spot whitetail deer, Canada geese, many species of ducks, beaver, mink, fox, raccoon, squirrel, rabbit, wild turkey and an assortment of aquatic wildlife.

Picknicking
Lake Snowden offers two shelter houses with seating for 75 each. The shelter houses are available by reservation only. Electricity is available with reservation rental fee. Restroom facilities are conveniently located nearby, and the adjacent fields have ample space for softball, volleyball, and badminton games.
