Final Fridays
On the final Friday of every month, except December, galleries and shops on Nelsonville's Historic Public Square stay open late. Visitors are treated to art exhibits, plays, street performers or hands on workshops with the artists themselves.
Fur Peace Ranch
Conceived in 1989 by world-class musician Jorma Kaukonen of Hot Tuna, Fur Peace Ranch in Meigs County is now known internationally as one of the best music camps in the world. Don't miss concerts year-round at the Fur Peace Station.
Historic Square Arts District

Nelsonville Farmers Market
In collaboration with the popular Final Fridays event on the Historic Square in downtown Nelsonville, local farmers will join the fray from 5pm-8pm every Final Friday from May through October. The goal is to promote healthy food options as well as supporting local agricultural entrepreneurs and hobby gardeners alike.

Passion Works Studio
Passion Works studio supports collaborative art-making by placing Passion Works Artists (artists with disabilities) together with Resident and Visiting professional artists to create outstanding and beautiful works of art. The studio is home to the Passion Flower, the official flower of Athens, OH.
Stuart's Opera House
From 1879 to 1924, Stuart's Opera House was home to touring vaudeville, melodrama and minstrel shows, and the entertainment hot spot for Nelsonville and its surrounding coal mining communities. Today the theater has been completely restored and brings in talented national acts all year round.
