Athens County's micro-winery is situated in Southeast Ohio's Appalachian foothills. Shade Winery is actively reviving old traditions and striving to create new ones. Established in 2004, Shade Winery is dedicated to emphasizing local or organically grown ingredients whenever possible.

Shade Winery is open on Friday's & Saturday's from 1 to 8PM.

Enjoy the lodge with comfy couches and rustic fireplace! Cheese and crackers, from Integration Acres, are available for purchase at the lodge. Or, you can bring your own food with you!

We now have nine wines including our own estate grown Vidal Blanc as well as wines made from other Ohio grown grapes. Come by and visit our tasting room and relax on our porch with views of the vineyards. We have fine local cheese and crackers available from our neighbors Integration Acres, as well as wild caught smoked salmon and mixed olives. You are also invited to bring along your own snacks or meals to enjoy with our wines.
