Papermaking with Natural Fibers

In this two-day workshop, beginning and advanced papermakers will make sheets of paper from natural materials such as cattail, yucca, and mulberry.  You will cover the process from start to finish, from foraging and collecting the fiber to cutting it, cooking it, beating it, pulling it, and finally pressing it into beautiful, translucent sheets that can be used for fine art projects and functional art alike. Heidi will take you on a field trip to gather, and show you the entire process.  This would be a wonderful workshop for a family, or anyone who is interested in the start-to-finish process.Cost for one adult only: $70.00 includes materials for two days. Cost For one adult one child cost: $100 for two days.
