This two story bar loves retro-influenced indie rock, punk, and garage rock revival. It used to be a speakeasy during prohibition. Many big-time indie bands have played at the Union over the years, including The Ataris, Man Man, The Black Keys, The White Stripes, HUM, ENON, NRBQ, and many more. Bands of different genres play the Union's well-worn stage. Everything from hip-hop, to rock, to funk, to jam has found a home on the Union's large and grungy stage.
