Here in Appalachian Ohio, good work is being done on every level to be the proverbial change we want to see in our food system. As a restaurant, we feel privileged to feed our community in a manner that not only nourishes our neighbors, but that also has a net positive effect on our global village. We hope our holistic approach becomes widespread in Athens and beyond, and we encourage others to follow our business model: Reinvent the meal!

We make smoothies, lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, shakes, yogurt, muffins,scones, chai and hot chocolate with Snowville Creamery milk and cream. We also offer Herbal Sage teas. Catalyst quiche is made with Snowville dairy and High Bottom Farm eggs, and the quiche Lorraine always contains King Family Farm bacon. Soups feature local vegetables including onions from Shade River Farm and potatoes and garlic from Rich Gardens. Our sandwiches are made on Village Bakery bread, with homemade mustard or mayonnaise made with High Bottom Farm eggs.
